Dunelm’s Ria Rotating Shoe Storage is listed at £139.50, down from £199, a 30% reduction. The unit has four rotating shelves around an inner console, but its assembly may be challenging and its current availability and sale end date are not specified.
Dunelm’s Ria Rotating Shoe Storage is on sale for £139.50, reduced from £199, according to a report by Ideal Home. The 30% price cut applies to a four-shelf unit that rotates around an inner console, offering a way to store several pairs in a compact hallway footprint.
The Ria unit has four shelves that turn around a central structure, allowing users to rotate the storage to reach different pairs. Ideal Home says the design keeps multiple pairs out of sight while leaving four pairs on show. The report does not specify the unit’s total shoe capacity, so the number of pairs it can hold should not be inferred from the shelf count.
At 113.5 centimetres tall, the storage can also be used as a visible piece of hallway furniture, Ideal Home reports. The article suggests placing a key tray on top and using it as a small side table; that is a proposed use, not a feature or accessory confirmed as included with the product.
Customer feedback cited by Ideal Home is mixed on assembly. One reviewer described the item as good quality but heavier and larger than expected, and said a family member assembled it. Another reviewer called construction “too complicated.” Those comments are individual reviews, not a formal assessment of the product, but they indicate that buyers who are not comfortable assembling furniture may want help.
A Rotating Option for Narrow Hallways
The discount may interest households trying to clear shoes from a small entrance or hallway without adding a wide rack. Turning shelves can provide access to stored footwear while keeping the unit’s footprint in one place, although the available source does not give its width or depth for comparison with other furniture.
Keeping footwear stored rather than scattered near an entrance could also make a hallway easier to use. Ideal Home frames reducing clutter as a way to address trip hazards, but the article does not report a safety test or establish that this product prevents falls. Buyers should check the measurements against their available space and consider whether the unit’s weight and assembly demands suit their home.
The price reduction is a concrete point of comparison: £59.50 less than the stated £199 original price. Whether that represents good value depends on capacity, construction, delivery costs and the buyer’s needs, details not all supplied in the report.

How the Ria Storage Works
Ideal Home presents the Ria as a shoe-storage version of a rotating bookshelf design it had previously covered. The central idea is to rotate shelves around an inner console, rather than pull out drawers or arrange shoes on a fixed open rack. The report describes the unit as a space-saving option, but provides no independent measurements comparing it with other shoe-storage products.
The article also mentions alternatives, including a compact shoe cabinet, a shoe-storage box and a folding rack. These are presented as other shopping options, not as products tested side by side with the Ria. The cited article’s focus is the current markdown and the rotating design, rather than a broader ranking of hallway storage.

Sale Dates and Product Specs
The source says the item is “currently” discounted but gives no sale end date, and the price or stock status may change. It does not confirm whether delivery charges apply, whether delivery includes assembly, or whether the product is available in every location.
The report gives the unit’s height but not its width, depth, materials, exact capacity, weight or assembly time. It also does not explain the technical details of how the shelves rotate or whether the product must be secured to a wall. Buyers should consult Dunelm’s current listing and instructions for specifications and setup guidance before ordering.

Anyone purchasing the unit should review the assembly instructions and assess whether they can safely manage its weight and construction. Based on the reviews quoted by Ideal Home, buyers unsure about assembly may wish to arrange assistance rather than assume the furniture is simple to build.
